Pooja Bedi’s long-standing tiff with father Kabir Bedi’s
and wife Parveen Dusanj is no secret. The father daughter duo had a fallout in
2013 and, since then, stay out of each other’s paths. In fact, the actress
wasn’t part of her father’s 4th marriage to Parveen
Dusanj.
One would assume that time has healed wounds but well,
that’s far from the truth.

Motwani’s Sunday brunch brought Pooja, Kabir and Parveen under one
roof. While attendees were hoping that this get together might prove to be the
ice breaker between the father-daughter duo, but they didn’t acknowledge each
other.
A source tells us, “From Pooja’s body language, it was
clear that she was not keen to make amends. She gave them a royal ignore and
mingled with other guests. She is still holding on to what has happened. Kabir
and Parveen too did not initiate conversation.”

For those who have come in late, Pooja and Kabir had a
fallout in 2013 when the actress asked Kabir to vacate his (late) wife Protima
Bedi’s 2 BHK apartment in Juhu. It was said that Pooja shared an uneasy
equation with Parveen.
3 years later, Kabir tied the knot with Parveen but Pooja
was absent from the celebrations. The actress
made her displeasure known to the world by tweeting, “Every fairytale has a
wicked witch or an evil step-mother! Mine just arrived! @iKabirBedi just
married @parveendusanj.”

She deleted the tweet minutes later and congratulated the
couple but Kabir wouldn’t have it and slammed the actress for her ‘venomous
comments.’
Days after Pooja’s tweet about her stepmother,
SpotboyE.com had got in touch with the actress and she
had addressed the tension in the
family.

Pooja had said, “One utilises such occasions (marriage)
in family to better his/her relationships. But it's okay. I guess we all are
responsible in the creation of our own destinies. If they (Kabir-Parveen) want
to carry on with the existing grudges, it's their choice.”
Guess it will be a while before Pooja and Kabir bury the
hatchet, if at all, and are one happy family again.
